FLOYD PRIDE 2025 Has BEEN POSTPONED TO 2026.
Floyd Pride Announcement
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Pride in the Park will not take place this year.
Due to financial challenges and the current difficulty in raising funds, we are unable to host the event as planned.
While this is a disappointment, we want to emphasize that our work and our commitment to the Floyd LGBTQ+ community is far from over. In fact, we’re more determined than ever.
Here’s what’s next:
We will be starting monthly community potluck dinners up again to bring people together, share a meal, and strengthen our bonds.
We will continue to focus on community events that meet our shared needs, foster connection, and celebrate who we are year-round.
We are also excited to announce that just a few weeks ago, we were officially granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. This is a major step forward for us it means we can now better fundraise, apply for grants, and build the resources needed to make next year’s Pride an incredible, unforgettable celebration.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your love. We may not be gathering in the park this year, but our community spirit will keep shining louder, prouder, and stronger than ever.
